“Overall The Good Ships is a spacious, clean accommodation in a great place for easy access to the seafront and beach in Shanklin.It’s is let down however by some of the amenities provided, which is such a shame. The kitchen requires additional pans and general facilities. 2 x saucepans is not sufficient, a large frying pan and large casserole dish.The fridge is a large American style with water and ice dispenser of which neither of the work.The TV is old and needs updating, not being a smart TV...

“I cannot put into words just how fabulous this place was… it was soooo clean I wish every place we have stayed was to this amazing high standard. The hamper was so beautiful and even included a large Easter egg. The kitchen was better provisioned than my own and the bed was super comfy. We had some lovely walks along the beach which is only a very short walk way and the owners were so helpful with the information they provided. “A great location on an island with lots of things to do and explore. The cabin provided everything we needed for our family getaway, but if I was being honest the mattresses on all the beds left a lot to be desired and didn’t provide the best of nights sleep.
