![Sandown Bay is a broad bay which stretches for much of the length of the Isle of Wight's southeastern coast. It extends ten kilometres from Culver Cliff in the northeast to just south of Shanklin in the southwest. The towns of Shanklin and Sandown are located on the bay's coast. The seabed is a mixture of sand, shells and gravel. The beach is predominantly sand. The bay is best viewed from Culver Down to the north. "Wonderful peaceful location with fantastic sea view. Lovely scenic walk into Ventnor (15 min approx). Nearby donkey sanctuary well worth a visit, as well as the National Trust walk above Ventnor - the views were amazing 360 degrees. Looking forward to a return visit."

"We managed to park outside which was great very useful. We got there a little bit early but Diane at the reception desk was fantastic. We got all booked in up in the room off to adventure in the Docklands. The room was lovely and tidy. Very neat everything that you needed very warm had to open the window but all the staff were fantastic. Breakfast was great. Would definitely stay there again I think they’re a fantastic location and absolutely brilliant staff. Thanks for a wonderful day Cliff. "
