“I went for a short work and leisure trip. It was perfect for me in terms of price and location. It was clean and cute, nothing luxurious but had everything I needed. Supermarkets and a variety of top restaurants are close by. Host answered my questions and kept in touch in case I needed anything. I would recommend it if you're traveling solo or with a partner. I would also stay again. Many thanks to the host!”

“This is what you always hope to get--nicely thought out and decorated, comfortable and well maintained. One caution--like most basement apartments in the area, the stairs down in are narrow and tricky. Leave the porch light on when you go out in the evening!”

“Host was very welcoming and provided detailed instructions on how to access the property/parking. The rooms were clean and easy to find necessities. Check out process was easy going and smooth.”

“Very quaint location in the heart of Georgetown. Everything was wonderful! I will say that the temperature in the upstairs part of the house was warmer than I would've preferred during the heatwave. Lower floors were much more comfortable! ”

“Nice, clean place to stay in DC. Close to a few very good restaurants, but has a decent kitchen, if you want to cook for yourself. Good air conditioning, for those hot and humid DC days.It is a downstairs unit, so not a lot of natural light coming in. We had 3 people in our party, which was fine, but probably a bit more comfortable for a couple. Also, there's not a lot of space around the bed in bedroom, which could be problematic for larger people, but it suited our needs very well.”

“The location was perfect for us. The rooms on the third floor were quiet and private very clean. The bed was quite comfortable. Martin, the host, was courteous and genuinely helpful. Adding another reading light so there is one for each side of the bed would be an improvement for the room. ”

“Communication with host was above and beyond, excelente location, stunning home, business trip turned into a mini vacation. ”

“The property was in a safe neighborhood. On street parking was available. We are a family of six and each of our teenagers had their own bed to sleep in. Laundry was available on site and grocery store at the end of the block. It’s an older home, so the stairs are steep and the bedrooms stayed cooler when the doors were ajar. The week we were there it was in the 90s, so we were grateful for the AC!We made dinner each night, and watched a movie. The smart TV had lots of movie options, including...
