"The accommodation is great and cozy, even if the weather is bad. You will however need to buy garbage bags if you planning on staying a while. Washing machine does tangle up the clothes and comes out drenched. You will need to bring your own washing powder. There is plenty of towels available. The place does say you can sleep 6 people but only had access to 2 bedrooms. There is no Vodacom signal but the wifi is good. The host Delia was great"

But the room we stayed in (self catering unit) needs some upgrades - main bedroom aircon needed servicing, bathroom door was broken, tap was loose as was the toilet roll holder, and a few other things needing repairs. "We had a great stay 10/10\. The property is positioned greatly. The room was nice and each balcony had gas grill for braai. They have all you need on site but there are restaurants close in walking distance and a checkers less than 5 minutes away. The staff is great. I’d like to specifically thank Sandra for finding an additional night for us when it became available. We stayed for New Year’s Eve and the fire works were amazing. They put on quite a show for the guest. All of our food and drinks were good. We were ready to extend our trip a few more days how nice everything was but they were book solid. We are really appreciative for the extra night that we were able to book even though nothing was left online. The ocean views, the pool and the beach were all great. It was my first time visiting Balitto while visiting South Africa from the US and I’ll definitely be coming back on my future trips to this beautiful country. Thank you La Montagne staff keep being great. "
