The staff member didn’t seem too excited about my check in. I had been driving since 4:30am 6/28/26. I brought my son to school in Independence, KS. We decided to come back to Joplin to stay overnight because I became very to tired to continue the drive back home. I didn’t get a warm welcome, I wasn’t given any information on the breakfast times, or any information. I tried to make small talk with the front desk clerk, the only thing he said to me was I need a is and card for damages. Nothing else didn’t even tell me the room number I had to just look at the key package. I was extremely exhausted and was pressed for time to get back home on yesterday and needed sleep. If I had any strength to keep driving i would’ve left and not even stayed. The bed was really cozy and the room was clean, that I do appreciate, tremendously

I cannot give enough kudos To the Fairfield Staff on Joplin. On Friday Night, June 26th, my wife fell at a Webb City Trstaurant. We transported her to Mercy Hospital. She sustained Broken Hip. She had Rmergency Hip Replacement Surgery on Saturday. She remained in the Hospital until Tuesday the 30th. I drove her home to Kansas City. She is in a Rehab Center. She is recovering. I cannot say enough about the Staff of the Fairfield in Joplin. I will forever treasure their Kindness and care in our difficult moment. Thank you

The room was very clean and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast was also very good and had a variety of food for people to choose from. We got into the Neosho area very late and had difficulty finding the hotel because the sign is not very big and it is not very well lit. It was difficult to find a way into the parking lot. Also, the king size bed was very comfortable but it was very high from the floor and was difficult to get onto. Because I am short, I had to use a stool to climb up to it. Just some minor things.

Hotel with patio sliders. On the upper floors it's great to have them available so that you can sit out and enjoy the evening in the spring and fall. Ground floor - they are a godsend if you have a lot of junk that you are schlepping back and forth between the car and your hotel room. You won't find this amenity anymore at many hotels, but I can tell you, it came in very handy for me. I will definitely be returning here simply because of that use.
