Old world Hotel within easy walk cityPosted Sep 14, 2015
Pros: Old world feel and breakfast outside in the courtyard
Cons: Access to the second floor plus a good cleaning of the carpets.
Location: The most wonderful Duomo in the world! absolutely magnificent, painted from top to bottom with renaissance masterpieces.
Friendly staff. There is no lift to the second floor, beware if you have heavy suitcases! The Hotel is old world and some of the fixtures and fittings reflect that. Breakfast was good and served in a really nice courtyard. Our room was OK with a nice view across part of the town. Local cafes and restaurants are good, being a little bit out from the tourist area they had more atmosphere and were frequented by locals.Overall a good stay with access to all tourist attractions.

Convenient location to explore old town Siena.Posted Jul 12, 2015
Inside the walls, the hotel is atmospheric and convenient. Paid parking around the street. Breakfast is fair. Good option for exploring this old city.

Underbart hotell.

Posted Jul 1, 2015 on Hotels

AMAZING HOTELPosted Jun 25, 2015 on Hotels
Il Chiostro del Carmine was by far the best hotel we stayed at in Italy. The staff was very helpful, friendly and accommodated every request. The Staff even put a bottle of Proseco in our room after a conversation about our honeymoon. Il Chiostro del Carmine was clean, had large rooms with a tub and in a great location. The staff helped us book our excursions and reservations for dinner at recommended restaurants. I would recommend a few nights at this hotel as we felt 2 nights was far to short.

Nice clean hotel in a good safe locationPosted Jun 10, 2015
Pros: Location, staff, cleanliness, room, free breakfast.
Cons: Nothing that we can think of
Location: A few minutes from the main square in Siena and most of the sights
This hotel has very friendly helpful staff. The front desk manager helped us book a difficult to book restaurant when we arrived. Clean room that isn't huge but definitely enough space for a couple to stay in. Great little balcony out back to enjoy the evenings and have some wine. A short walk to the main square in Siena. A little bit of a hike to the train station. Not too bad to the bus station. Taxi from either might be preferred by some. We walked with our luggage. Complimentary breakfast each morning which had good options.
