Family Beach Trip

We had a great time in Siesta Key ( even though we had rainy weather for most of the week!) We went to the beach. We grilled out. We swam in the pool. My husband and I used the Kayaks. Mimi was a great host, and the house was just as pictured

Summertime Beach Getaway

Perfect spot for our family - we had everything we needed, including space for our family of five. I really appreciated all of the beach gear, including wagons and carts to haul it all. We had a great time!

Mimi, the house owner, met us at the house, gave us a tour and was very helpful. The house was perfect for our family of five! Very clean, and was exactly as the pictures showed. Would definitely be going back!

We absolutely loved our family's stay. I would give it 11 out of 10 if I could Mimi was a fabulous hostess, very helpful if you need anything. The pictures are beautiful because the property is so beautiful. The location was amazing - so close to the beach and the village We used the bikes (assortment for all ages) daily, and we loved the kayaks. The home is comfortable, super clean.very homey. with all the amenities you could want. We will definitely stay here again when we travel this way.

Heaven on earth

Our stay was fantastic! Mimi was a wonderful host to deal with. She was on site to greet us and showed us the specifics of the house, pool, hot tub. the pool and hot tub were used every day, very clean and the high light of our trip. Mimi supplied everything you could imagine for the beach. towels, chairs, umbrella and loads of beach toys if you have children. She had several bikes that were in great shape and our group of 6 that are all over 60 years of age used them often. The beach of course was beautiful and only a few blocks away. Within walking distance. We had a great time and will certainly be returning for another stay at this great vacation home. Thank You Mimi for sharing your home with us. Wonderful Vacation!!!

Mimi is such a gracious host. She really cares about her guests and was always available for any questions or needs. The home is so relaxing and inviting and the amenities are amazing ! We enjoyed kayaking in the canal behind the house and the beach is absolutely beautiful! We even were able to view manatees including a momma and baby manatee in the canal right in the backyard! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

What’s mine is yours during your stay

It’s like visiting your friends home, “What’s mine is yours during your stay”. Homeowner was accommodating and communicative before during and after our trip to ensure all of our needs were met. Couldn’t have asked for a better home to stay in, it was extremely well equipped with everything you would need to have the best vacation possible, from the kitchen to the kayaks, bicycles and beach going supplies, it was all right there. Home is conveniently located near all siesta key has to offer. We are looking forward to coming and staying again.

Beautiful Easter 2023

Great Vacation

Mimi is a wonderful host. We loved the house and the area. Beaches and restaurants are very close beautiful and fun. The neighborhood is as very quiet and peaceful. Old Florida feel with all the old trees, I loved it. She has all the chairs and umbrellas you could need for the beach which was very convenient. We loved playing ping pong and hanging out in the pool and hot tub. I would recommend for anyone. We will definitely be back.

Perfection on Siesta Key

The photographs cannot do justice to this spacious home. We had a small family reunion here and spent our time in all the areas comfortably: joyous play in the pool, plentiful seating at the pool, shaded Adirondack chairs overlooking the canal, covered Florida room off the living room, and a spacious living room looking out to the canal. The kitchen has all the knives, utensils, appliances and dish wear we needed for cooking. We were so happy with the location. Walking to Siesta beach and a short drive to town. Loved the bicycles and the plentiful towels.

Amazing location

My family could not have been happier with the house. Located on a few minutes walk from the beach, you could also walk to Sarasota Village. One really nice thing was the amount of equipment that was available. There were around 6 kayaks/canoes, and probably around 10 bicycles of varying sizes to choose from.

Birthday getaway

We had a great time at Mimi's. We had a couple minor issues that she took care of immediately. It happened to be on a Sunday so she came out herself and took care of them. She is very responsive. We have stayed at a lot of VRBOs And she is one of the best ones we have dealt with. This is her own property not just managed by a property manager which I feel like has made a big difference. There is everything you need it was a great stay.

Vacation haven

The vacation house, location and setting exceeded our expectations! We had to make a last minute choice and not sure how this house was not already taken; the location was great- just a short ride (bike, car, golf cart) down to the main beach but honestly the house and setting on the canal provided everything needed for a peaceful and memorable vacation. We had our adult kids and two of their friends with us and between the fishing on the canal, kayaks, and oh the pool:) and the man ping pong tournaments had we loved it! Mimi was very responsive and the house perfect for cooking up good meals and enjoying swimming late at night. Already wishing we were back. Thanks for the hospitality Mimi we hope to be back again!

Excellent vacation spot!

My spouse and I stayed at Mimi's vacation rental the week of Memorial Day. The house is in an excellent spot, biking to the local restaurants, beach, and bars was great! We only ended up going to the beach 2 times because the house had everything we needed to relax. The neighborhood is very quiet and right around the corner from everything. Mimi is an excellent communicator and was very attentive to ours requests. The number 1 thing I can say is how accurate the listing is! From the pool, the canal in your backyard, the location, and the cleanliness of the home. One of the best vacation spots we've found yet! thanks again Mimi!

Siesta Key Vacation

We have rented in Siesta Key many times, and this was by far our favorite vacation spot! The home is beautiful, very clean, and well appointed.My wife and I stayed here along with two of our grandsons. The home is an easy walk to the beach, just at the end of the street. We used the beach gear that is provided everyday ( beach chairs, umbrella, wagon, and toys). Downtown is walkable, about a mile, or we rode the new bikes that are provided. The patio area is big and has lots of seating and dining spaces. The pool was great and larger than we expected. The pool cover kept the water temperature very comfortable. The hot tub is very relaxing after swim.There are plenty of kayaks to use. We used them to explore the area. There are miles of kayaking you can do right from the dock in the back yard. Mimi is a fantastic host! She messaged us a couple days prior to our arrival to welcome us and check our ETA, and on our arrival day she met us at the house and gave us a tour of the house and property. Mimi checked in with us during our stay to see how our stay was going and gave us ideas for fun things to do with the kids. (Drum circle!) We really enjoyed meeting her and appreciated her kind welcome.

Perfect Family Beach Getaway

This property was an amazing home to spend our family vacation. Mimi was very responsive upon checking us in and available for everything we needed throughout our stay. Typically when you go to the beach, the beach itself is the highlight, but in our case this home stole the show. Between the pool, hot tub, the ability to fish in the canal, kayaks, and games it was tough to even get my kids to leave the house to go to the beach. The home has everything you could possibly need for your stay in regards to kitchen supplies, beach gear, bikes, games, etc. Staying here allowed us to spend quality time together and focus on making family memories throughout our visit.
