“We had a lovely last minute stay here, the views out are amazing, especially the sunsets!. We were a couple staying with our labrador, and we all loved the relax. The pod was equipped with everything you can think of, and the owners are really friendly and helpful. We had the added bonus of staying in a pod with a hot tub which was perfect after long days out walking. We took drives from here to nearby beaches, to conniston, buttermere and beyond. There's also play field connected to where the……

“Wonderful set up at The Lodge. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a small family break. All the mod cons, particularly liked the electric window blinds. Kitchen facilities was excellent and more than adequate. We also took our own coffee machine for that extra home comfort. Location was pretty central for the places we wanted to visit. Windermere was only 40 minutes away with stunning views of the country side on route. Hot Tube was a lovely touch and well maintainedAll in all a lovely break away……

“I cannot thank Craig and Del enough. Last minute booking for myself, my sister, and my dogs. Phenomenal communication and clarity of instructions, brilliant parking space and sign posting. The apartment (Wainwright) beyond exceeded my expectations! Beautifully appointed, stunningly decorated, and so incredibly thoughtfully put together. The dog welcome box was a really sweet touch. Beds are comfortable, amenities are top notch- and I genuinely could not have been more stoked with what was a home……

“We loved the location as Coniston is not so touristy and still very scenic. We loved the size, layout, quality of furnishing and white goods in the flat. There is everything needed for self catering but very good pubs and coffee shops close by. Highly recommend High Wythow”

“Great central location for walking. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Good choice of supermarkets. Good choice of takeaways nearby.”

“Great location 15 minute walk right into the center of bownes The property is spotless clean Some great bars and restaurants dog friendly too”

“Couldn’t fault the property whatsoever, only downside to the stay was workman digging up the road outside from 8-5 each day which also restricted access to the property. Not a fault of the host of course but needed to leave the property during the day as couldn’t hear yourself think when workers working. ”
