It's located near Lamar Valley. If you're a group of four or more, I highly recommend staying in the Back Cabin. It's cozy, with a dining area and a gas cooktop. Just note that there’s no Wi-Fi signal in the cabin itself—Wi-Fi is only available near the reception area.

Partially our fault because we thought we booked in Gardiner. We had no idea how remote and isolated Silver Gate would be. The 'staff' was not unfriendly but they were not very welcoming nor did we feel they provided us with the 'lay of the land' as it were. We felt isolated and left to fend for ourselves. Having said that, the cabin was cute and comfortable and the scenery gorgeous, and the access to Yellowstone was quite convenient.

Loved our stay. Cabin was clean and well equipped with dishes. Comfortable beds, staff was very nice. Perfect to access to the Lamar Valley in Yellowstone and one of the prettiest settings in the park.

Ice clean cabin, booked for Cooke and direction’s would have been nice since it was 3 miles out of town. Cleanliness was outstanding and owners were great at leaving messages from friends checking in on us. No good or liquor other than Cooke City would stay again now that we know the trail.

Great little cabin, we saw moose close by. No internet. Parents liked that child did not. Parents bed new child’s bed a little old. Very, very friendly people and neat eating options very close by.

Cute cabin.

It was only one night stay for us. It's a cute cabin. Beautiful view in the fron of the cabin, outdoor cookout site and seats at the small porch to llok the mountainview.. They have a full kitchen except microwave. There is no TV, and no wifi in room, so we actually spent a quality time without any social media distraction. Wifi is only available near the main office. The town...? there was no stores or restaurants open. We arrived the cabin after 5 pm, and end of September. We drove a couple miles to Cooke city for dining and filling gas for our car. This town is the closest place from the northeast entrance to yellowstone national park.

This is a small cabin/hotel property in Silver Gate Montana, very convenient to Yellowstone NP. I stayed in a cabin which was clean and provided all I needed. The lighting was a little dark. There are a few restaurants nearby but more in Cooke City which is just 4 miles east of Silver Gate. The staff was helpful and made sure you had what you needed. A neat experience!

Great location right outside Yellowstone. Cute log cabin. Great front porch for hanging out. Adorable mule deer frolicking every evening in front yard area. Negatives were one bathroom for 6 guests, 1 coffee mug for 6 guests ( asked for more & received 1 more 😂😂 and 3 very cute gray mice coexisted with us inside😍

1min away from the Northeast entrance of Yellowstone was wonderful! No WIFI except at the general store…..super hard when you’re trying to look up info/get driving directions. No daily housekeeping but if you need something, ask and you’ll get it!

Eenvoudige huisjes. Klein maar fijn. Super cosy en kampvuur voor je huisje. Midden in de natuur. Te klein voor 4 personen. Erg smalle bedden. Zeer kleine badkamer. Geen spiegels. En geen wifi! Alleen bij de Lobby. Grotendeels weet je dit vooraf. Maar een paar kleine aanpassingen zouden al een hele verbetering zijn. 4 bekers ipv 2. 2 glazen. In een huisje voor 4 p. Pas spiegel, is alle ruimte voor. Geen wifi is niet zo erg. Maar wat basis dingetjes zou prettig zijn geweest voor het comfort.
