They were great hosts. They helped us unpack and move into our space, gave us an overview of the local area, explained the amenities and made us feel welcome from the start. They bought us BBQ chicken tickets from the local church, whice we enjoyed immensely. They made camp fires every night, which they set up by themselves and hung out with everyone by the fire. The place was extremely clean and pleasant both inside and outside. They had various outdoor areas where you could go for some quiet time but also had kayaks, small paddle boats, and a great deck with chairs that were available to all guests. We didn't know what to expect when we got there, but were pleasantly surprised and impressed by the lodge and especially thier hospitality. We plan on going back with our friends to kick back and relax. Although we did not take advantage of boats or the ATV experience they offer, we highly recommend the Lodge/Lakeside Rentals to anyone interested in ATVs, snowmobiles or just kicking back and enjoying northern Maine. We hope to enjoy more of the amenities on our next trip. Boats were available for rent which we used. Hosts made a fire available in the fire pit each night which was nice. Very friendly and helpful about local area information.
