"We had an incredible stay at Lumina! The grounds are beautifully kept, with great attention to detail. Our cottage was perfect- very private and well decorated. The cottage was able to open to the outdoors, but also had great AC for when it was too warm and you wanted to close things up. Very nice breakfast each day. Staff were incredibly professional, friendly and helpful. Beautiful pools throughout the property that felt very private. The property is thoughtfully laid out so you barely notice that other guests are there. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! "

"All the staff were incredible and we felt very looked after. Rooms were lovely as were the pools. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet as well The only negative was the dining choices. One restaurant which food was good but would have preferred some more casual snack items. This was also quite expensive. Most days or evenings we got in a taxi and went to independent restaurants of which there are loads around. This was a great why to get out and see places and try new restaurants. Location was ideal for us and felt secluded, safe and private when on the grounds. We liked being away from the busy areas and was happy to take taxis to these areas when needed. Overall a very enjoyable stay"

"I had a great stay here. The staff were amazing, always helpful and just lovely. The atmosphere was beautiful, like a quiet little oasis just a stone throw away from the business of the chaotic mainroads of Ubud. The pool area is lovely. Lots of greenery. I stayed in one of the wooden rooms wich was lovely. Very comfortable. My only "complaint " would be it said it had a private pool, but it didnt. I didnt ask about it as it really didnt bother me. The main pool area was never busy so really, wasnt a problem for me. Maybe it would have been disappointing if youre a couple wanting privacy but i was travelling solo so i was happy. And even though the menu at the restaurant was limited, food was beautiful!!"

"Omg this olace is incredible. I’ve never been anywhere like it. It’s gorgeous and the rooms are luxurious with their own private pools. The food and breakfast is delicious and the smoothies too! More than anything the staff is incredible I felt totally taken care of and always greeted with a smile and helpfulness. Gusti is truly a gem he helped me immensely on my solo trip. I hope to return there soon. Also super convenient and just gorgeous "

"Staff provide a first class, genuinely caring service!!! Pros: 1) First class service from Staff 2) Fantastic quality food, very tasty, good variety i.e. not just East and Western foods 3) Hotel is clean, room is cleaned daily (unless you require otherwise) 4) Hotel aims to minimise waste Cons: 1) Small gym 2) Area around the property i.e. off site not really tailored to tourists"
