"The perfect stay in beautiful Pompei on our way home from Southern Italy. Stayed for 2 nights to visit the Ruins of Pompei and Vesuvius. Sonja and Alfonso were the perfect hosts and gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home during the entire stay. The suite was extremely clean. Very comfortable and spacious. The pool was a big hit with the kids after days spent exploring the region. Also of course the trampoline and the basketball hoops. Overall a perfect stay. Highly recommended."

"Nous sommes arrivés à l'appartement et nous avons attendu un long moment notre hôte, qui avait omis de réservé le parking. L'appartement était très sale. Nous avons dû faire plus de 2 heures de ménage et une machine de linge avec toutes les serviettes et les tapis de bain qui sentaient mauvais. La douche, le micro-ondes, les sols n'avaient été nettoyés. Après 1500km de voyage, c'est juste inadmissible ! L'appartement en lui même correspondait au descriptif. Le wifi est empreinté à l'appartement...

"Our group loved our stay at the Monticelli Mansion! We had 9 adults and the space was perfectly sized to accommodate us all. It is a gorgeous house and all of the rooms are lovely. The house was a little difficult to locate but the host provided helpful directions that made it easier. I only wish it were a little bit more central to nearby restaurants and grocery stores, but the benefit of distance means that the property has an incredible view of the surrounding area. "Palazzo Pirozzi is a wonderful place! Be aware, though, that the local train can be overfilled or stop without warning, so you may want a backup form of transportation.The hosts are delightful people, who think of their building as their personal B&B, so they may invite you to brunch or invite themselves in to fix any issues. They're very kind and gracious, though!"

"If you are looking for 5-star accomodations within a stone's throw of one of the less crowded entrances to the Pompeii ruins, Hotel Forum is the perfect stay! Comfortable, well fitted rooms. Nice breakfast. Very centrally located. We loved that Hotel Forum has many restaurants nearby and one on site. This is a busy area and there was construction going on while we were there which made it feel a bit more hectic, but the fact that the hotel has its own garden area makes you feel like you're transported away from the hustle and bustle once you go through the entry."

"Hotel property is located adjacent to Pompei Ruins, and a the Circumvesuviana train, which is a commuter train that runs from Sorrento to Naples including the hotel stop, Pompei Scavi. Tickets to Mt Vesuvius with transportation, can be purchased just outside the train station near hotel. Hotel offered free breakfast at a small cafe adjacent to hotel every morning. There are not many options to eat dinner late in the evening that are in walking distance, and their are zero activities after dark, the area is sort of "dead" after dark. If you want peace and quiet, except for the train passing thru, then stay here, otherwise, find a place in Sorrento, which has more nightlife to offer."
