“Very clean room and friendly staff. Only complaint is that I could hear some animals crawl within the wall once every half an hour very clearly, to a point where I thought there’s a mouse or squirrel in the pod. It does make resting a lot harder.”

“Very cute place loved the private beach . The brown tinged water and smell was a bit of a turn off even though they have a water softener and everything in place. Also, I found the floors a bit dirty/sticky. It’s not well marked the house itself, a local had to help us find our spot. It was my first time using this check-in and had no internet so it made things a bit challenging for me.”

“Property location was perfect - beautiful beach and water view from room was lovely. Late check-in was problematic as instructions given were unclear. The door that was left open for us to access the room had a sign reading ‘please use other door’. The contact number to call was unresponsive. Had to try all doors on the property before returning to the initial door. Very confusing and frustrating.”

“The dome itself was lovely and well situated on the water. The bed was uncomfortable, but the linens were clean. I was very disappointed in the facilities. I have no issues with using a pit toilet, however you must provide some running water for guests. The only way I was able to fill up water bottles was to ask the people at the lodge to go into the kitchen to fill my water bottles. I was also incredibly disgusted by the showers at Cabot Shores. “Lovely place to stay. The renovation was done by someone who knew what they were doing and it showed! Clean, fun, perfect size for two, and just what we needed. Truly a gem.”

“We had an average stay. Geared more for younger folks than us! Never met the host but they had no problem changing our reservation when our plans changed. If you arrive after 7 make sure you have had supper or bring something along. Everything is closed. Not much to do in the area.”
