The hotel was in a great location. We were able to walk to a lot of the places we wanted to see and the activities we planned.
The breakfast was delicious. There was always a wide variety of options.
The hotel staff were always friendly and helpful.
I highly recommend the Amerikalinjen for your stay in Oslo.

Great for an affordable place close to Oslo. About a 35 minute walk from the Opera House. Public transport easy to navigate! Clean and tidy place!

Clarion Oslo was a very nice hotel. Staff were very friendly, especially at breakfast. Delicious breakfast spread.
Room was clean with decent amenities. Gym was difficult to find, but nice.
Only hiccup was checkin. We missed our first night (of 2) due to a missed connection. I notified the hotel, who responded to me, offering to check us in so it’d be ready upon arrival the second day. Upon arrival the following day, we were told our first night was marked as a “no show.” They found us a room, but was a little disconcerting, after traveling for two days and knowing the hotel had received our message about a late arrival.
Great location and overall very good stay, would stay there again.
