There is a pool, but we did not use it during this visit. Was nice to have it as on option. We used as base to visit Newport, which worked out very well. There are options for dining in nearby towns. Definitely recommend Jukebox cafe for breakfast, and The Aviary Restaurant for dinner. Air conditioning was not on, and it was brutally warm. For a hotel it functioned on par as a mid rank motel. I arrived at night and was a little disappointed I could not really see the river however the river is just not lit up very well in this area. In the morning it was beautiful view of the river. We enjoyed a cup of coffee on the balcony looking over the courtyard at the river.
