Vaporetto stop is right there too. A very ornate old palazzo - rooms a bit tired but clean. All period furnishings. Nice bathroom amenities. We walked everywhere from there. Venice City Center6 nights3.0 star property8.0/10 - Very good (1,001 reviews)"The location and breakfast were excellent. The hotel could be kept a bit more clean and tidy. We visited a few similar hotels around the Grand Canal, and all were similar in price and much more cleaner, bigger and better looking. Having no elevator was a huge issue, as we had to go up and down with our luggage. There was help with a porter taking things up, but not when coming down."Reviewed October 31, 2026Roundtrip • Charlotte (CLT) - Venice (VCE)CLT - VCE • 1 stop VCE - CLT • 1 stop$1,683$1,338found 1 day agoper traveler - Hotel Santa Marina

Sottomonte Hotel Deals
"This place is located on top of a hill overlooking vineyards. The restaurant has a great view as well as the pool. The property has a great underground parking lot and is very spacious. There is also a playground for kids and an elevator for luggage. The staff was so helpful, we arrived later than expected and needed a quick meal for our toddler and they helped prep a simple pasta for him right before the kitchen closed. The room had a great size bed, good AC and a great bathroom. The shower was...
Best Western Plus Soave Hotel
Best Western Plus Soave Hotel"Friendly staff, comfortable and large rooms. Also the pool was nice!"
"Nice welcome! Good reception staff. But the room could be better equipped by including a kettle and coffee/tea options - the stuffs that we find in other hotels. Breakfast is average and the staff could be trained to be more welcoming (some lessons to learn from the reception staff). The ladies at the reception helped in planning our stay and the things to see/do which were helpful. Overall a good option to stay with family."
"The staff was always cheerful and sincerely interested in our comfort and well being. The breakfast buffet was wonderful, and our accommodations very comfortable. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the area."
