Our room was brilliant. A little dated in decor but as we had a corner room we had 4 balconies with stunning views. We were disappointed that the hotel does not supply or replenish drinking water. (this was our first hotel in Australia that didnt) Downstairs is a very lively bar so the hotel provided earplugs. Generally w/e's are busy. The restaurant on the first floor seems only interested in reluctantly serving their small coffees & although we did not dine there the menu did not excite us. It seemed very minimal.
Our bathroom had cracks in the tiles & the hinges were rusting so hence the frame was soiled. Also the door sticks so trying to use the loo at night was noisey. For 3 nights we were happy with our room & location, however the pictures on web page do not truely reflect the tired appearance that we see. We thought it would be an Art Deco classic. The staff were all exceptionally friendly & helpful.
