"We loved the authenticity and cosy bed and fire. We felt the bathroom let it down. Nowhere to pop your toiletries. Rae was wonderful at bringing us coffee which was missing and looked after us well."

"Great communication with the hosts. This little cottage is an absolute delight for a romantic weekend! It was quiet & private with more than enough provided to ensure a comfy cosy stay. Breakfast included a range of tea & coffee choices along with orange juice, muesli, cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt & croissants. Located close to a number of wedding venues & dining options, plus the spectacular Waitakere Ranges with its black sand beaches. We took the relaxing 20 minute drive out to Muriwai Beach...

"On day of check in we received an email asking what time we would arrive and received no reply as to the address to find the exact location for the accommodation. By deduction and luck we drove around and around until by chance we found it. Host was very good in supplying iron and ironing board on request. Had to buy laundry detergent and no dryer."

"This property was just as good as last year. The cleanliness, the location and the ease of dealing with the property manager is so easy . This year the towels were lovely and new!! The weather was the only thing that wasn’t as good as last year !! We will be back next year 😀"

"trying to get through and get assistance from the hosts is near to impossible. we stillhave a grievance with them re the ammenities and to date have had no positive feedback. our stay was nearly two weeks ago. too many indians and not enough chiefs."
