Very noisy during the night, other guests kept trying room door handle trying to get in. Slightly rude inattentive male staff member on check in, but was put right by extremely friendly and very friendly female staff on the check out reception.

Simple, affordable, ideal 1 night stay
Ok value for money these days, wasn’t expecting the Ritz. Comfortable bed, TV was a little small but ok. Bathroom could do with modernising & floor was quite creaky.

Good value hotel stay.
Staff were really friendly but room seemed a bit empty compared to the photo. No cushions on the bed but plenty of towels and a very comfy bed with lots of pillows. Parking was excellent and check in was easy. The food in the restaurant next door was very good and the staff were great. I really enjoyed my meal! Great for the price, will be back next time I’m in Barnsley.

I am a Yorkshire man born in Worsborough. I have been living in Scotland for fifty years now and I like to return home as often as possible. I prefer the Fairway to other Hotels because it ticks all my requirements. The staff are Wonderful and the accommodation first class. It is very good value for the money!.

Plug Sockets.
Staff were very helpful. The room could do with more plug sockets. The room overlooked the road, and was quiet enough for sleeping.

Not a nice experience
The hotel was very dated, and the room had a shabbiness about it.The bed was a small double, the pillows were lumpy, there was only one chair in the room, the bath tap dripped loudly, and all in all I would not choose to stay again

Not happy with this hotel
Very disappointed in this hotel, very dated, needs decorating badly.. staff when we got there not helpful.. no bread at the breakfast, then the girl brought out half a loaf, gave me 2 slices and took the rest back!! So my husband had none with his breakfast!! Tea was cold, no fruit on contenental breakfast, no phone charger in room, someone was smoking in corridor!! Never go there again..

First and the last time I would book it
The hotel is no more than a glorified wooden box .. you hear every footstep, every floorboard creek, every door bang, every toilet flush & basically every word spoken !! the rooms are so basic with a TV which has a screen size of a postage stamp then you have to go to reception and try to locate a remote control which doesn't exist ... the restaurant attached to the hotel served food which was probably the worst both my wife and I have every had served to us.

Worth a visit
Lovely room, very friendly staff especially reception staff. Nice restaurant. We were visiting cannon hall farm which is just a 10 minute drive.

Just stayed the one night, room was basic, floor creaked, was slightly noisy as the room was at the front. Lovely hot water for a bath. Restaurant very good, had the all day roast it was delicious and plenty of it at a great price.

Disgrace, tired and run down.
Dirty, tired, run down, windows that dont close properly and its on route to a hospital so sirens all evening. Its cheap for a reason, do not stay here, they dont care once they have your booking.
