Valentine Weekend

Perfect Getaway

This is our third time staying here & we couldn’t be happier. The cabin is in a great location; it feels completely remote but anything you need is only a couple of miles away. It’s clean, cozy, and the host is great to work with. Would 100% recommend to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in this area.

Wonderful Location

This cabin in the woods was the perfect mountain retreat for my wife and I. Tucked away in the woods and right near the river. The cabin was stocked with everything one could possibly need. Would highly recommend staying here.

The place was perfect. Quiet, clean, remote, great scenery, very private, great fishing, love the swing down by the water, love the gazebo. So lucky I found this place. I would defiantly stay there again.

Quiet, private retreat

Amazing, secluded cabin that provided the perfect getaway for my wife and I. Ideally situated near the river and just the right size for two! Clean and well-maintained. Comfortable chairs and bed. If you want to get away from it all, this is the place to go. We’ll be back for sure!

This is a great place to stay! It's a cute tiny home in the middle of the woods with a river and wildlife. The only downside for me was the chairs in the 'living room'. I'm short and the head rest was above my head making them uncomfortable. However, I would definitely stay here again. A note to others that stay: there is a tiny dimmer for the lights on the side of the switch.

The perfect cabin

This is truly a perfect cabin for you and a plus one! Especially if it’s a girlfriend or wife. Very peaceful/romantic, you can hear the river from the front porch. We will definitely return again! Such a beautiful cabin and beautiful property.

Second Visit

We stayed here previously and enjoyed it so much that when we needed somewhere to stay in the area again, we were delighted to see it was available. As charming as we remembered, the host provided everything we needed and more. There are plenty of local restaurants and it’s also in close proximity to Stone Mountain (fun hike with great views if you’re up for it!). We spotted lots of wildlife near the cabin (deer, cardinals, rabbits, turkeys, etc.). Highly recommend a stay here if you ever get the chance!

Nice secluded getaway

The cabin is small just big enough for two. Very cozy. The bed is very firm so not the best sleep. Cabin was clean and a short walk to the little river. We caught some trout and suckers. Beautiful area with a swing by the river. We enjoyed our nice long weekend at this cabin and would recommend others staying here.

Beautiful River View

The house was exactly what I expected for a tiny house, clean and neat. The river view was wonderful. Our only problem as Seniors was the walk down to the river and back was rather difficult for seniors. It would have been nice to know that the entrance road was narrow and steep. We did enjoy our stay and the peaceful atmosphere even the visit from the neighborhood roosters when we first arrived.

A cabin in the woods

Location was a short drive from town of Sparta. The cabin was essentially one room with a nice bathroom. Smaller than we expected. Access to the river could be better. The path was a bit overgrown. The gazebo between the cabin and the river was very nice and a good place to sit and listen to the river.

Very private!

This little cabin is the absolute perfect spot for a couples getaway. We spent our 25th wedding anniversary here and got exactly what we wanted. Absolute peace and quiet, with a beautiful view! Close enough to town that you can be at a grocery store in 10 minutes or less, but far enough away from everything so that you have complete peace and quiet. The river is beautiful. The cabin is the perfect size for just two. Has everything you need. We are already looking at booking another trip!

Amazing privacy and tranquility!!!

From the swing by the creek to the roosters in the morning, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay! The cabin is well laid out, clean, warm and inviting, the covered structures overlooking the river are a beautiful place to sit and listen to the rain or watch fireflies, and Marc strikes a perfect balance between communicative and respecting guests' privacy. We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, but the town of Sparta is just minutes away, with anything you might need. We really didn't want to go back home, but vacations can't last forever!

Perfect set up for a quiet get away. This cabin had everything we needed and more. Clean and comfortable. Warm at night with the heater. Shower with endless hot water. Kitchen set up for all your needs. Beautiful view to the river with covered places to sit and enjoy. Fire pit under the moon and stars was magical. Deer a common site. Just lovely.
