Loved the room … 5 star location. Travel tip - Google or Apple takes you right there. But, tough to find because we are looking for the big signs like a hotel. The Bellevue is right across the street and has a visible sign. Riva Luxury Rooms are lovely. You enter into a multi use hallway. There is a small plaque on the street. You enter into the Riva rooms and it turns beautiful!

Very big room. Quiet location.

Excellent location and wonderful host! This property is in an amazing location, right next to the historic center of Split and within easy walking distance of so many restaurants, cafes and shops. The room and bathroom were both huge, very clean and comfortable, and equipped with personal sized toiletries, coffee and tea. For the location and accommodations, I thought it was an excellent value. One important tip for future guests: this property can be difficult to find the first time, especially if you or your driver have never been there. GPS may take you to the street below near the Ambassador Hotel. From there, cross the street, walk up through the city squares and turn left until you find a large metal gate. Go through the gate to access the property. I had a very difficult time finding it when I arrived, but thankfully the wonderful Julija was actually out looking for me and found me wandering around! Another tip: the doors to the rooms are very stiff and you have to push quite hard to open them. I had seen this mentioned in another review, and I'm glad I had because I initially thought my key wasn't working. The key was fine. The door just needed a good push. Finally, I can't emphasize enough how wonderful Julija was. She was incredibly kind, helpful and welcoming throughout my stay. If I could give her 10 stars, I would! Overall, a great stay in a fantastic location, its not the Ritz but so many efforts and care are shown at thisand I would definitely stay again.
