Recommend this place to stay with the exception of the slight noise from the plumbing from another floor

Here's what I liked... The staff were friendly. The room was clean, spacious and quite nice. The shower had great water pressure. The property looked very nice with a beautiful indoor courtyard in the centre with a lovey pool, lounge, dining options and offered room service. The food we ordered through room service was delicious. Here's what I didn't like... The shower didn't have a curtain or full enclosure so water escaped onto the floor unless you pointed the shower head towards the wall. The complimentary toiletries were cheap, tiny little samples. One had a broken seal and one was partially empty. The small bottles aren't necessarily a bad thing but the hotel gives the impression of a higher end hotel for a 3 star but the toiletries lower the impression. The broken seal and the half used conditioner indicated that housekeeping cuts corners. I had to request extra pillows 2 x and they never brought the second one. The room phone did not have any directory on it for contacting front desk, room service or calling out. I had to guess so I pressed zero. There was no information on room service and there are no menus in the room. I had to call down to the front desk to find out how to get a menu or access room service. The menu is the q r code on the card. They didn't tell us ar check in. Room service forgot the ketchup for my fries and said they would return with it, but never did. They don't indicate what the room service charge is,I assume it was the 17% added to my bill
