"Quiet little location in the woods. Was not able to see any wildlife on the few hikes we took around the property but it's a nice wooded area, we enjoyed the view from the hottub. Cabin is simple and clean with all items needed for our stay. The property manager was very responsive to our concern. "

"The place is perfect weekend spot for fishermen. The owner went way out of his way to assist us when a huge windstorm knocked out power for about 6 hours. Drive 90 minutes to set up a generator that powered the whole house. Plus, he offered to ship a charger that inadvertently got left behind. Beautiful spot right on the river that is open during Michigan’s trout season. Planning a return trip next year!"

"The hawks nest is a very warm, cute cabin. The hot tub and wood burning stove were both huge hits for us, as it was very cold the 4 nights we were up there. Also has lots of extra blankets to keep you warm. We spent our evenings curled up watching Netflix (provided.) The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals (has some spices, tin foil and drawers full of every gadget you will need.) Shelby and her husband were very easy to work with and very quickly responded to any questions we had, they even sent someone over to plow the driveway for us after receiving 4-6” of snow! The bed was very comfortable! Thanks so much for allowing us to spend some time there. We enjoyed our stay very much!!!"
