"Overall the property was great. We got 4" of rain one day which I know is alot, but from that point on the property from the decks to the water was saturated with water coming up from the soil. After a couple days it began to smell bad, but that's what happens. "

"We stayed here for a week with 4 adults and three kids 6-12. There was so much for the kids to do. Take games, board games, a toy room, fishing, trampoline, TVs in each room. We enjoyed the front porch which we spent lots of time eating our dinners and watching the lake. The campfire pit is close to the house so we had one every night. The house is loaded with extra stuff so you literally don’t need to bring anything extra but food and clothes. There was plenty of sleeping space as well with comfy beds and quality linens. It was very relaxing and quiet. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place to take family to relax and spend quality time together. "

"House was clean and well appointed and has a bunch of games and tv. Has multiple spots for fire pits. Great layout for 2 families with kids. Lake is super clear and big and great for swimming, pulling a tube, or water skiing. Rented very nice boat from owner. We had a great time and would return!"

"I enjoyed a snowy weekend getaway here. It has a warm and homey atmosphere, especially with the gas fireplace. The decor is folksy and charming. The bed is really soft and comfy. And the host is super friendly!"

The listing wasn’t completely clear that the property was a part of a larger condo building with other guests staying right next door and there were a lot of flies and beetles on the floors and walls. "This was resort property of vintage cabins in a fairly remote area, very DIY and not a lot of amenities... which was perfect for us. No restaurants nearby, but the cabins had kitchens, and the lodge had a bar with a small menu of bar food (pizzas, fries, nachos). The couple who staffed the lodge were very friendly and helpful, and the locals we met were very nice! "
