The Cook Hotel was probably in its “Heyday” back in the early 2000s, when it was built. It’s very convenient to everything at LSU being right on campus, but the hotel itself is very dated. The rooms are small, amenities nice, the elevator is on its last leg. The gift shop is well stocked but skip the breakfast. Our “Deluxe King” had a comfortable bed, way too fluffy pillows, and you could barely walk between the TV stand & the bed. Staff were friendly and the self parking is free. Great location if you’re visiting campus, but it’s like stepping back in time… to 2006. My Gam Gam would love it.
