In any season, explore the nooks and crannies of Woodstock’s general store FH Gillingham & Sons…find local art at the Walpole Artisans Cooperative, the art studios of Chester, or the VAULT (Visual Art Using Local Talent)…watch glass-blowing at Simon Pearce…see a play at Northern Stage in White River Junction…sample Vermont specialties at Grafton Village Cheese Co. and the Green Mountain Sugar House.
Not feeling that ambitious? Settle in front of the stone fireplace for wine and cheese and conversation, gather the family for a rousing game of Uno or Monopoly, or snuggle up on the sofa to watch a movie.
If cooking is your favorite way to relax, this is your dream kitchen: well-equipped, with plenty of counter space, and open to the living room so you can chat while you cook. Roast a turkey with all the trimmings or whip up a batch of waffles for breakfast. Or just put the kettle on for tea and pop something in the microwave. It’s all easy here.

Our family had a wonderful time staying at this house. It's super clean, not too far from Okemo (30 min) and about an hour drive to Mt snow. Basement had a mini pool and a Foosball table that kids enjoyed. Beds were super comfortable and kitchen was well stocked.
This house is walking distance to where we always have Thanksgiving dinner, and if feels like home now. The games were a treat for my 7 year-old grandson, kept him out of the preoccupation with screens. I love the trees and the view. The kitchen has everything I needed. After two years in an apartment, I really appreciate the real fireplace. I miss the pictures on the walls which have been there in previous years, but that is minor, compared to the pleasure I feel staying here. I am so grateful.
Our group agreed that we could not have picked a more beautiful location for our Vermont leaf peeping. The drive up to the house revealed a spectacular view and attractive home. As others have noted (and since everyone in our group was over 65) we will also note that there were missing pavers in the steps up to the house. After long days exploring Vermont's back roads we looked forward to getting back to the house and gathering on the deck for sunset, a glass of wine, and later, star gazing. So relaxing and beautiful.

Amazing place! New, clean, spacious, well equipped (we even found pancake mix), and with one of the best views you'll ever see. We had 2 families, total 8 people, staying comfortably through a great ski weekend. Highly recommended!
The views are spectacular and the location was perfect for us; we were just down the road from our family. The kitchen was spacious, so it was easy to prepare and serve meals. The beds were very comfortable.
Our host was great and responsive to any questions while we were there. It’s a very comfortable spot with a great kitchen and mountain view’s from about anywhere you look. Pretty close to civilization even though te property itself is isolated.
Excellent stay with beautiful panaromic mountain views
We stayed in this awesome home 2nd time and had wonderful relaxed time.Becky/Rob very prompt in response. We love the panaromic views from the huge deck and truly enjoyed the stay
The views are simply spectacular! Lovely property and location. We were in town for a family reunion and this rental was 100 times better and less expensive than the suggested hotel.
Relaxing home for a family weekend in Vermont. Spacious and comfortable for five adults . Two full bathrooms and comfortable quiet bedrooms. The view is absolutely beautiful and we would stay here again!
