Spruce Head Vacations from $694

Though the location was extraordinary for the festival, at 400 dollars a night it was not the hotel it was advertised per Hotels.com site. First, we waited 25 minutes to check in at the front fest with only 2 people in front of us. We were awaken the first morning at 7am with concrete grinders 2 feet from our porch and the thick smell of tar engulfing the room. The staff didn’t care too much but apologized. There were no amenities in the room. There was a microwave with broken buttons and a TV that sometimes had signal and sometimes went blank for hours. The water in the shower was ice cold the second day and would not get hot at all. There was rarely anyone at the front seat after check in time. But without a doubt, at 11am the cleanup person is barging into the room and rudely upset that we were 10 minutes late in leaving the room. There was a complimentary room you could get some almost clear coffee and a bagel out of but it serves from 7-9am so don’t be late if you want a bagel, hard boiled egg or some oatmeal and some very weak coffee. As I started, at 400 a night, hotels.com did not give an accurate rating of this hotel. I’ve had better accommodations and service at a 75 dollar a night hotel than this experience provided. Definitely will not be staying here again.

Incredible stay, recommend it to everyone traveling. The property is beautiful and the owners are fantastic. We will be back!

I have always wanted to stay here. It was great good food at the Tavern abd a wonderful Breakfast!
