"Great host and neighbors! Cozy home with many things for the baby and kids. Very convenient location! We came in late fall when the weather wasn’t as predictable but we were able to see gorgeous views - both of the Lake and Mountains. We loved Zermatt, Stresa, Our Lady of the Rock in Locarno, and a boat ride to the Borromeo Islands. Parking in the garage was quite difficult for us Americans but there is street parking available. "We loved our stay at Hotel Muralto and highly recommend it. The property is conveniently located near public transportation (a bus stop right out the door and train station a 5 minute walk). It's a 10 minute walk to old town Locarno, shops and restaurants. The hotel itself is well maintained, the room was spotless and all staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was fresh and delicious, the air conditioning was welcome and refreshing (we were in Switzerland during a heat wave and stayed in several hotels which didn't have A/C, resulting in some uncomfortable sleeping). Overall, Hotel Muralto was our favorite hotel during our time in Switzerland!"

"The hotel was lovely as were the staff. The breakfast was lovely, I ate in the wonderful outdoor bar. I also ate dinner in the restaurant and that was good too. Great facilities, very clean and beautiful rooms. The location directly around the hotel doesn’t have much to offer, but there are plenty of great places to visit within a 10 to 15 minute drive. And of course the train station is next door."
