"When we were there (June 2025) reception opened at 1600 and was off-site. You had to phone a number to get a key safe code to obtain your room key. When phoning, you hear a recorded message in German. Sadly, we could not understand the message so had to rely on the restaurant staff (who were on site) to help us connect to reception. German speakers would have no problem but non-Germans may have a problem. Another issue we had is that the hotel states it has an EV charging point - it does not! However, there is an ultra fast charger about 500m away next to Aldi. So, if you're hoping to charge overnight whilst sleeping, it's not possible. Once we obtained access all was well. The staff were great, the room was clean and the bathroom was spotless. There is a very good restaurant within the hotel building and the food is excellent. In the morning, breakfast offerings include continental and cooked. Again, excellent quality. All in all, we found this to be a very nice hotel with very helpful staff (once we'd battled the language barrier to actually get in!)"

"We hebben heerlijk even kunnen ontspannen op deze plek! Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien, en het ligt dicht bij twee kleine supermarkten en een paar hele mooie fietsroutes. Meneer Jansen heeft voor ons de hot tub warmgestookt, zodat we er na het fietsen in konden. Super bedankt!"

"This is a wonderful place to stay being very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The hosts are so kind and nice and it quickly felt like a home from home.The views are great and the location is so peaceful. Saarland is a wonderful area to explore and we found lots of places of interest. We also enjoyed hopping over to Luxembourg, which is very easy to get to. A highly recommended property."
