It's unfortunate I had to give a 1 star rating however, after my experience since departing the hotel, it's well deserved.
Since leaving I come to find out that the "hold" they put on my credit card for nearly $10,000 for potential incidentals was actually put through as a "charge." Originally, they tried to tell me that the $10,000 was the amount owed and after calling multiple times for an itemized bill, I finally got one and was able to point out the errors. They finally got it and I was told I would receive a credit of more than $6500, but that I would have to wait for 10-15 days to receive it, which I never did. So now, after numerous more calls and no follow up from their staff or managers I'm told that it was processed but they cannot provide a date on which it was processed or a receipt for the credit. They've blamed everything from their Wifi, to their accounting department, to their finance department, to the Bank of Butterfield, but at the end of the day, I still do not have my credit nor proof that its been processed. No one, including the manager I spoke with has taken ownership of the issue or is providing any sort of follow up.
You would think that being a new hotel, looking to build a reputation they would take customer service seriously.
