We were pleasantly surprised with how well we liked our stay. It was a stopover for the night before we went to Mackinac Island. The fridge had a freezer that actually froze our water which is usually does not freeze well at other hotels. They also had folding tables to eat on, which was convenient.

Took my parents to the UP for the first time and they loved their room! Bed was extremely comfortable, everything was super well cleaned, and the location of the motel is perfect for people wanting to go to Mackinaw Island and come back on the same day. I’ll stay here again in a heart beat.

Our stay here was perfect— 5 mins from the ferry to Mackinac, very clean and modern interior, and check in/out was quick and easy! This is a perfect place to stay, we didn’t mind it being on the smaller side as we spent most of our trip out and about. For the price you cannot beat this especially compared to other surrounding options!

Pros Bed comfortable Pet friendly Close to town Air conditioning Cons US2 was right there perhaps 30 yds away Bathroom door broken, didn't close No staff on site apparently since motel is remotely run except for probably some cleaning person No seating Small room This is just an old style motel from the old days, but it was refurbished as much as could be. If I just wanted a place to sleep and planned to head out I wouldn't mind, but I had my wife and adult child as well as dog. I did appreciate that it was clean, but $50 for a dog was a little steep. I would recommend this for the sleep since beds were quite comfy, but it's not very big.

Great find!

Super cute convienant and clean stop-over for points further north! Newly remodelled and surprisingly vomfortable for an older drive-up motel. Love the concept or a remotely operated hotel, no office on site.

We loved everything about this spot. The walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors but that's the only real bad thing I have to say. Everything else was wonderful from cleanliness to comfort

The room was really nice and clean. It looks like it was recently renovated. There was a good amount of kitchen supplies like coffee cups, plates, and glasses. I loved the remote check in and check out. It made it simple to check in and check out with two dogs in tow.

Clean - Cute - Perfect

I never leave reviews but I have to for this one. We find ourselves in/passing through St Ignace often … the hotels are all old and leave much to be desired. This place is the exception … feels new, is immaculate, beds were exceptionally comfortable, perfect little sink/counter space. And all 5 min from town. We loved it and this will be our go-to from now on!

A nice surprise along Rt 2 in St. Ignace

The interior of the Inn was freshly and beautifully renovated!!! Very clean. Modern. Comfortable. It is near the lake so it naturally was damp and buggy outside. Some flying friends came in with us. That’s Nature but may bother some people.

The unit was renovated. Its very clean, the bed and pillows are good. The property is on the side of a highway so I can hear vehicles passing by at night. I also hear the next door occupants flushing their toilet. The sink on the bathroom is so small. So, we just used the one in the kitchenette. I liked that dishes, cups, utensils and several glasses are provided in the room.

We were a little confused at first because I forgot they were to send check in instructions. We didn't see an office and going back to original booking saw that and found the email in my spam!!! Things were not looking good until we opened the door to a beautifully decorated modern room. Comfortable, clean, lovely place! Nice kitchen. First class remodeling job! Two small concerns- the air conditioner was pretty loud- may need service and we would have liked a safety bar in the bathroom tub/ shower area.

This would be my go to spot to stay when I am in the area. It is so much nicer than any of the other spots that we have stayed at nearby, and that includes national chain hotels. Way more comfortable, convenient, clean, and the kitchenette is so helpful when you're on the road.

This is a gem amongst all motels and even hotels in the Mackinaw/St. Ignace area. Completely renovated, just like the pictures show it. And dog-friendly! Yes, you can hear occasional noise from adjacent rooms but that’s no difference when staying in a hotel. I will return to this motel anytime if I need an overnight stay in the area.
