This vacation rental home is in the cultural and entertainment heart of downtown St. John's-- facing picturesque Jellybean Row; and, historic Signal Hill and harbour are a short distance away. This 2 story 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom house is in mint condition, fully furnished with all kitchen and dining amenities. Hardwood floors throughout. A large country style kitchen with cherry oak cabinets leads to an enclosed garden area which receives full sunshine. Propane BBQ and deck furniture included. An oversize master bedroom with private balcony and en-suite with a whirlpool tub is in the top back. The second bedroom overlooks King's Road-- which is busy with people but not so many cars. Linens included. Wall mounted television with lots of channels from Rogers as well as free internet/WiFi and local calls only telephone. One visitor parking pass [on street parking] included; non-restricted parking is across the street. Lots of shops, restaurants, theatres and bars nearby. Easy walk to MUN.

Cute home in the heart of St. John’s. The owners were very accommodating. Unfortunately, we missed a day in St. John’s due to the cancellation of the ferry. They generously gave us a partial refund.

Wonderful spot in St. John's
The owners were great at communicating leading up to our stay, which made getting there from the airport easy (except for all of the one-way streets and "no turn" signs on some of the streets. Once found, the on street parking permit available in the house was fantastic and the house was central to everything downtown. We would have liked to stay longer than 3 days but needed to head north to hopefully see the total eclipse tomorrow!

This is just like home, if your home is highly superior
We stayed at 83 Kings Road for 2 months and it was the happiest two months of our lives. It was just like home provided your home is clean, comfortable, well-appointed, convenient, filled with music, convenient to everything in St. John's, , with good books to read and interesting prints on the walls. If you house were that good why would you ever leave home? We are sad to leave but hope to retun as soon as possible to enjoy all the good things that the perfect hosts, Marie and Doug, can provide. Two months was not enough time to do everyting.

Fabulous stay!
Wonderful property. I felt like I was at home. Incredibly charming and cozy. Location is excellent. Walking distance to everything. Good location for day tripping. The home itself was fabulous. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need to cook any type of meal. The decor and furnishings were lovely. So much space. This place is a gem. I would highly recommend it.

Very Nice St John Townhouse
We enjoyed this large well furnished townhouse. Very clean. Nice artworks. Good kitchen facilities. Stocked with the basics and some extras we enjoyed meals there. Top quality stainless steel carving and paring knives but badly needed sharpening and we didn't find one. Nice and close to the waterfront. St John's is a horrible place to drive a car! No street signs to speak of. The few intersections with traffic lights usually have only one on a post at the left side.

You have a beautiful B& B. It was very comfortable. I have pictures of an oven that was so dirty someone had to come in and clean it so as it could be used. BBQ not usable. Many items in fridge way beyond due date. Big stain on sofa. If you want the pictures I can send them. Overall we were comfortable and hopefully the cleaner does a better job of cleaning for your next guests.

Fantastic Stay!!!
I can't express how much I enjoyed my stay at this property. The pictures and description are a perfect match--if anything, it was even more comfortable in person. The location was idea in terms of proximity to all the downtown fun of St. John's, but just slightly away enough to be quiet and peaceful when I wanted that retreat. Then it was out the door in the morning for more fun. I may be strange in that I cook a lot on vacation, and the kitchen was comfortable with everything I needed. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathrooms were spotless. I really enjoyed the jacuzzi tub a few times after taking long hikes out on the North Head. Everything was well lit and comfortable. Full disclosure--I'm a writer, so I had all my own activities to occupy myself, and I didn't try out the entertainment, but everything seemed very well explained in the guidebook. I had anticipated going out a lot to write in coffee shops as I do at home, but it was so nice at the house that I ended up staying there much more, and that's a huge compliment. I would like to be able to come up to Newfoundland again in the coming years, and I would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat. Top marks.

We spent approximately three months in this house and from the very first day, we found everything we could ask for. It felt like home to us. The house was immaculate, with amazing facilities, games, and equipment, as well as an abundance of snacks. The location was superb, and every day was a pure joy. Fabulous accommodation even better than advertised.
We had the best time at this property. We found it to be extremely comfortable, clean and very well equipped. We had everything we needed for a great visit to St. John's. We could not believe our good fortune at being able to stay and such a lovely place and it felt like home every time we came in. We can't stop telling everyone about this property and hope to come back again and would encourage anyone looking for a rental to grab this location. Property manager was great also in handling a minor issue and it was taken care of immediately.

BEST LITTLE PLACE EVER! (3rd stay)
This property is an absolute gem. We have stayed here 3x and everything is perfect, it feels like coming home every time. House is extremely well equipped, is cozy and in a perfect location, within walking easy walking distance of downtown. The owners and property manager are extremely responsive and accommodating, couldn't ask for anything more and wish every VRBO stay was like this. Booked our 4th stay before we even left this time.
