"Everything amazing! Besides having to walk 20min from the gondola to get there (downhill so easy walk). The place is definitely worth the walk. Best view, best food, relaxed and courteous hospitality. The hotel was not fully booked so they let us leave at 6pm, at no cost! Disclosure: the walk is not necessary if you get there at 8am or 5pm. During open slopes is not possible. "

"The property was perfect and extremely affordable and accommodating. It is only a 5 minute walk from the train station that goes to zermatt. It is perfect if you plan on visiting zermatt and going skiing. Paul and his wife who are the hosts are extremely accommodating and some of the best hosts I’ve ever had. The place was a 10/10 stay and definitely recommend."

"This large home turned out to be perfect for our group of 11 mixed family ranging from ages 9-80\. There was ample space and though we are hardly professionals, an amazing chef’s kitchen. We selected the location for its size and proximity to Zermatt. That turned out to be the only downside, as it was a bus to a train and took over an hour, more because service was interrupted due to a landslide when we there. A little warning that the hill to the chalet is super steep and was hard for the grandparents. However, the views were spectacular and we really enjoyed the quiet. We turned out to be charmed by the nearby town of Grächen and its restaurants, shops and abundant nature and hiking. Walter was a great host, communicated well and had a brief issue with hot water fixed immediately. All in all, it was a delightful stay. "
