“This is a bungalow next to a mansion in a residential neighborhood near Holetown in Barbados. The surroundings are beautiful and the house is unusual in that there are no glass windows, just openings that have wooden shutters. This gives you a feeling of living outdoors, but with an air conditioner. Initially we were worried about opening the windows and bugs coming in, but there was no issue with that in time of year that we visited (early March). So for most of the time, the windows were open……

“Fabulous garden cottage, literally a steady 5 minutes walk to Gibbes beach or 3 minutes to Mullins beach. Well-equipped and freshly decorated, with aircon in bedroom. Everything as described and more. Looked after by the lovely Wendy but not intrusive. Hummingbirds, green monkeys, parakeets and butterflies in abundance in the amazing garden. Such a relaxing holiday - we will be back ”

“Lovely cottage on Sugar Hill but description is incorrect with no washer and dryer. Cooking facilities are very limited with only a hob microwave and small counter top over, so cooking for more than 2 would be very difficult. Cleaning etc are good and owner was nearby if needed.”

“This property is great. It was extremely clean, comfortable, well equipped & in a great location. (5 -10 mins walk from everything you need). Communication from the host was always clear, helpful, friendly & prompt.Wifi was strong & never dropped out.New insect screens have been fitted on every window & french doors. Fans in every room with coin operated A.C in the bedroom (1 BDS p/hr - we only used it for 1 hour per night as we were going to bed)Maybe a little dated but for us this just added……

“The owner, Charles, lived next door and was on the hand to give lots of advice about Db Property and about Barbados generally which was very helpful. Good air-conditioning near Silent in all the bedrooms which was a must. Thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool and Hot Tub and the added bonus of a fully equipped semi professional gym. We highly recommend this property.”

“The cottage supplied everything a person could need for a week vacation. From the temp controls rooms, the laundry room and outdoor pool area for evening relaxations. All necessities were meet. The location is in the Hub of Oistins, the beach and all transportations. ”

“Palm Cottage was exactly what we needed for our stay in Barbados—clean, cozy, safe, and conveniently located close to the beaches, bars, grocery stores, and plenty of great places to eat.The cottage is small, but that was perfectly fine for us. It had everything we needed and felt comfortable and welcoming. We especially loved being able to enjoy our meals outside on the deck. The grill came in handy for some fresh caught Snapper.The only things we felt were missing were a mosquito zapper……

“Lovely place to stay.. quiet, peaceful, wonderful large porch to enjoy meals. The apartment is large enough for 2 people. It has lots of storage space in the bedroom for luggage and hanging clothes. Nice big shower with good water pressure. The AC is great! There are 2 wall units, one in the bedroom and another in the living room. Usually rentals only have them in the bedroom and it’s hot in the rest of the apartment! There are also ceiling fans and a stand-up fan, so it was a welcome relief……
