“A fire breaking out in the middle of the night is never good news. However, worse was the fact the emergency exit was padlocked!
The single staff member was clearly overwhelmed and never offered any explanation or communication while we were evacuated into the street or thereafter while we waited to get back into our rooms after the fire brigades had left.
Aside from the fire incident, the hotel could do with better housekeeping (emptying the bin and replacing a towel is not quite good……

“A beautiful, open oasis with a breathtaking view of the lake. It’s truly the perfect place to relax. The interior is very modern and spacious.
The evenings with the beautiful sunsets were truly magical. Since it hardly gets dark at night, you actually have to be careful not to forget to go to bed.
We were also particularly impressed by the record player with its great selection of vinyl records—a real bonus that creates a special atmosphere.
Telemark is a lovely place to relax, and we enjoyed……
