Stanley Vacations from $566

Bathroom had mold on ceiling and when we called to tell them they had a maintenance worker come up when we weren’t in the room and they just painted over the mold in the bathroom . The walls were peeling from water moisture due to no vent in the bathroom and it smelled very musty in the room. The end table had food that was spilled from someone before us. The lamp shade had food on the inside. The chair arms had tape on them and the side couch had some stains on it.

The parking lot had plenty of spaces. The front desk staff person was very helpful. The dinner at their on site restaurant was amazing. Even though the inn was busy, the hallway was quiet, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The complimentary blueberry muffins for breakfast were delicious.

The staff was excellent, especially the front desk team, who were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was a little dated but clean. We chose this hotel over others in the area because the website describes it as elegant and says to “expect nothing but excellence.” Unfortunately, the hotel itself didn’t quite live up to those expectations. While the spa may offer that level of luxury, the hotel could certainly use some upgrades and more thorough cleaning in the common areas. I noticed quite a few cobwebs on the lobby windows. While the ceilings are high, I expected better attention to detail based on how the property is advertised. I appreciated the coffee available downstairs, but I also felt a coffee maker should have been provided in the room. The wonderful staff were the highlight of our stay, but the hotel needs some updates and greater attention to detail to match the experience its website promises.
