"This place called the Cozy Bear Lodge was over and above our expectations!! It immediately became an experience we didn't want to end!! We knew the moment we arrived our stay wasn't going to be long enough!! It was truly spectacular and the views were phenomenal!! The queen bed was very comfortable and so supportive I couldn't believe it!! Their aim to please shows through and through! We were so close to the lake it felt like a luxurious houseboat sitting at the breakfast bar!! Loved it!!! We couldn't see anything but a beautiful lake!! It felt very safe there! This entire property was surrounded by really neat rolling paved walking paths with spectacular views anyone would love to stroll. And! The fishing was excellent!! It's a hotspot right off their piers! Small mouth bass were biting big time, but catch & release at this time, and the bluegills and caught a couple of beautiful pumpkin seeds! There's a fish cleaning house there, too! The cabin had everything we needed. The Loons were divine and we couldn't get enough of them!! We saw SO many deer every single time we went out!! The Cozy Bear Lodge on Little St Germain Lake will not disappoint and was so quiet and peaceful -- it's truly a very special place!! Our hosts were readily available when we thought we were lost but we just needed a little extra moral support and they were great! "We LOVED staying at The Waters. The relaxing north woods lodge atmosphere and numerous amenities (including on site dining and a coffee shop serving Starbucks) was exactly what we needed after an 8 hour drive. The staff are amazing. Knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to go above and beyond to assure guests have an outstanding experience. The rooms are newly renovated, thoughtfully designed with families in mind and SUPER CLEAN. Rooms are well insulated /soundproof-we were never disturbed by our neighbors despite staying during “peak” weekend hours. We will definitely be back. "
