Great property with all the amenities you need. Owners have it set up to enjoy yourselves.
We counted over 100 Bear figures/pictures/carvings etc in the house and had a game counting them.
I read that people complained about the walk from the parking lot to the home. We I needed to walk off the good food we ate, so no problem for us at all.
Only detractors.
1. Deck boards/nails need attending too around the Hot tub, easy to hurt yourself with exposed nails/loose boards.
2. Front door code was changed before checkout so, good job someone was still in the home as we were packing up. Property manager stated is was automated, so no reasonable answer would/can be given as you can link Checkout Time with automated Lock Change time.
Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home! My family had such a lovely getaway, and we were truly captivated by the spectacular views. If you are looking for a rental - the house felt warm, cozy, and inviting. While it’s a long walk from the parking lot to the residence, every step was definitely worth it. If you ever have the chance to stay here, I really encourage you to seize the opportunity! We’re already looking forward to coming back next year.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The home was perfect for my husband and I and our adult children and their partners! The home had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the gorgeous views of both the valley and the lake!
We had a great time here. Property was clean, comfortable and we loved the hot tub and fireplace. Location had great views and close to slopes. We were there during a blizzard with 70" of new snow so chains were a must to get up the street to the parking area.
Beautiful location and views of Lake Tahoe and Carson City. Lots of space and privacy for 4 adults. Enjoyed hot tub while watching the sunset. Thank you for sharing
We would like to say how wonderful our stay was. Magnificent views and such a warm and delightfully cozy home. Home is exactly as described. All the comforts of home in a peaceful setting. The management office was extremely efficient and courteous. Home is in a quiet community setting. My husband and I enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return.
The property sits atop a mountain with one hell of a view. The hot tub placement was key to enjoying this. The unit is a journey to get to however, and if you enjoy stairs, this place has them! That being said it’s clean and unit is functional for a stay. We enjoyed it and plan to come again!!!

thie house was beautiful but it was not very clean and we had to hunt for the grill rack and it was thrown in with a bunch of repair work materials that were left on the balaconies and the buttons marking are off we had to look up on the internet the directions to use it, Also there was a weird smell in the house we could not get rid of. the views are beautiful but the price is high and you get charged by VRBO and tahoe accondamtions for the same things and you have to p/u and drop off the keys at there office. it is a nice place it you keep your expectations down
What a great place to stay in South Lake Tahoe. The only thing knocking this from a 5 star is that the hot water was an issue the whole time. We could only get sustainable hot showers in the downstairs bathroom, only. Once we figured this out, this place was great. The pictures don't do the true views of Lake Tahoe and the Nevada valley justice. They are excellent views and the hot tub has a great view of the lake too. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well set up. We had a ton of snow on our trip, so be aware of the really long walk on the deck to get to the place and know you may have to shovel yourself out. But that's a Tahoe issue for everyone in the winter. The management company is great. As I said, this is a 5 star place if the hot water issue wasn't too strange.
Truly enjoyed our 3 night stay. The house was clean and very comfortable and that view is amazing!. Having that balcony off the living room was perfect. We ate breakfast and dinner each day just enjoying the lake view. It's the perfect place to be at sunset each night.
Plenty of space for my family of 5 (kids age 12,13, 18).We were there the first few days of the heat wave and had upper 80's Temps during the day so kept the blinds and doors closed during the day to help keep the heat out . Some additional fans would have been great during the night . We weren't comfortable leaving the sliding doors open at night because the screens didn't have locks amd every bedroom sliding door is easily accessible from the steps/deck especially the kids bunk room . Other than roasting at night which I understand isn't the norm for Tahoe we had a great stay here and would definitely book the house again.
Peaceful, Convenient, and Supportive—Perfect for Tahoe 200
I stayed in Kingsbury for the Tahoe 200 and couldn’t have asked for a better spot. The location was incredibly convenient—just minutes from key access points on the course—which made crew logistics and race transitions so much easier. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, with beautiful views that brought a sense of calm both before and after the race. The rental itself was cozy, clean, and well-stocked with everything I needed to rest and recover. From comfortable beds to a fully equipped kitchen, it truly felt like a home away from home. It was also close to grocery stores and restaurants, which made last-minute needs and pre-race prep simple. The only drawback was the walk from the car to the rental when checking in and out—it wasn’t far, but when you’ve just run 200 miles, it feels far! That final stretch from the car to the door felt like its own ultra —but honestly, that’s such a minor thing in light of everything else this place offered.I’m grateful for this stay—it supported me physically and mentally in a huge way. Highly recommend to anyone racing Tahoe 200 or just looking for a quiet, restorative place to stay while exploring the area.
The property is absolutely stunning. I loved being up above and away from the crowds down along the south shore - it felt like truly a mountain getaway. The only feedback I have would be to make it clear that the walk to the unit from the parking lot is very far, and includes several sets of up/down stairs. It would be nice to alert folks who are coming and have a lot of stuff to possibly bring small dollys or ways to more easily carry their things. People in my party were not used to the altitude also, so this was a difficult journey for them. And be prepared for lots of stairs in the 5 level home. Also, I would re-arrange the living room. Right now the sofa has its back facing the most amazing view, and is facing the TV. I would flip the room around so can stare at the amazing view from the couch inside as well as watch TV (if that's what you wish to do). Otherwise - fantastic property - I would def stay again.
Wonderful view, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. House is more than 120 yards from the parking lot….it was not shoveled the entire time we stayed here. I called manager to clear the ice dam that was blocking front door, which they refused to do even after I calling to tell them I fell and broke my ankle.
My husband ended up shoveling the walkway, three times. There is a terrible neighbor who yelled at us in the parking lot two days in a row. On our last day, he threatened to hit my husband with a ski pole.
On top of the ice damn and no snow removal, the front deck was covered in dog poop. I asked the manager if they could clean it up, which they refused to do. We paid more than $10k for the time we rented this property, so hopefully you can understand our frustration. We will definitely NOT be back.
This a great place, well appointed, very comfortable and well maintained. It is cozy, yet there is plenty of space for two families, improving an already great value. Everywhere you look is like a post card from the multiple balconies looking East and West. You can have a coffee with the sunrise and a hot toddy with the sunsets that will take your breath away. At night the stars take over and you get transported to a place before time... AND THERE IS A TELESCOPE!!! The stores, slopes, and casinos are a short drive away, along with endless miles of hiking/biking all over the area. Not even to mention the rich history of the region... The surroundings are pleasingly quaint and serene with an old world touch that is fading away in our ever changing modern world. Time slows down a little here and breathing relaxes as every turn is a picturesque look back into a time when nature is at its most pure. You can't help but feel better about the world when you come here, and want to be better yourself. You will want to be better to the world and want to get in touch with nature a little more remembering what life is all about. As so many things are uncertain, if you are in a rut as so many are these days, come here. This place will give you solitude and recharge you, sending you home with a sense of purpose to make the world a better place. Heavenly, yeah, I'd say so...

House was nice but too many issues
Yes, the views at the house are magnificent but with all the issues I would never go back
1- broke screen door - off tracks when we entered which I fixed
2- didn’t have the games as advertised in the pictures
3- video game remote controls didn’t have batteries which I reported day 1 and 3 days later the batteries were never replaced
4- one of the stairs on the exterior of the home was loose. We realized this as one of the children with me stepped on it and it fell off (which could have results in a serious fall and injuries). Reported this issue day 1 and again nothing was done as of the time we left 3 days later
5- the games in the game room were a mess with the guitars and boxes or games on the floor.
6- hot tub was not hot and the controls didn’t work to allow to adjust the temperature. Additionally if you turned the jets the water shot out of the hot tub and onto the house and deck
7- house is advertised as pet friendly but to take the dog to the bathroom you need to climb over a few rocks with some broken glass to get to the small dirt patch for dog use or walk the long trek to the parking lot
On the upside the inside of the house was very nice although the layout was bizarre the views and size were nice. Just wish the management was more responsive to concerns especially the serious issue with the steps
