We had a fabulous stay at The Grand. The hotel was clean and well maintained despite its size. Our double room was on the small side but comfortable, with a beautiful view of the water and contained everything we needed for our stay.
Staff were pleasant, very helpful, and check in was a breeze. The location of the hotel was perfect, opposite the water, few minute walk to the marina, village, train station and castle. There were plenty of places to eat and drink in the village, but we also enjoyed the food at the hotel and had a few drinks from the bar while sitting outdoors taking in the stunning views.

A fabulous hotel spiled by a complete lack of fit and proper management when in the carriage house for a evening meal and even worse at breakfast. 1500 characters would not do justice to my complaint, when leaving breakfast i was asked how it was by a member if staff and I replied with 1 word. SHAMBLES.
