The hotel definitely cannot be called Grand. It was build on a pub. But it is true it has a long history, built in 1833. It is not value for the money paid. First the checkin means calling the people from pub counter to the checkin desk to give you the key. And there is no elevator at the hotel, handicapped or large suitcase people not suggest to go. For the wind change in the bathroom, it cannot be even more noisy. I booked with the most experience room category, however the bedroom is facing the road, thus it made me hard to fall asleep. And about the breakfast, no service people, no hot food. Actually I booked two nights but only staying one night. The second morning, I already moved to another hotel in Yarra Valley.

Fabulous location with plenty of sites to visit. House set up is ideal and has everything you could need for comfort and practicality. The only small negative is the mattress on beds is super hard, but, I can appreciate that some people prefer this. We had a wonderful time enjoying all this house has to offer.
