"The room itself is a bit tired, carpets not very pleasant, wouldn't necessarily put me off booking again but this is more just feedback. Everything worked ok, although a bit surprised to have to pay £10 to park in the hotel's own car park."

All staff are helpful and accomodating - would like to give a special mention to Zoe at breakfast who is a real delight at the start of a day. This is an ideal place for walkers . "Positives: Staff polite, courteous and helpful. Negatives: Rooms are small in comparison to other establishments we have stayed in. Room felt tired and neglected. In need of refurbishment. Stains on netting, curtains, walls and carpets. Limited sockets avaliable and supplied with a block connector to use kettle and phone charger. Shower head bracket worn and would not support the shower head. Had to be held by hand to avoid it falling out and shattering on the floor! We would not recommend this hotel in it's current condition."
