"Recently refurbished so that was nice . We thought all the staff were really friendly and professional to both humans and dogs . It was nice that the team at the hotel all pulled together , conversed with the guests and looked good in their uniforms. We have no qualms about saying Book ! you will love it - its a very welcoming place in the middle of the forest.

"We stayed in the Gypsy Caravan - it was definitely a unique experience and highly recommended for those with a spirit of adventure. Vinegar Hill pottery is a great place to visit with excellent hosts. Thanks for a great stay"

"The owner and staff were incredibly lovely and accommodating, especially as we needed an early check-in to prepare for our wedding that day. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was seamless for us.
The stunning interior decor and the delicious breakfast truly added to our special day. Being just down the road from our wedding venue in Sopley, it was the perfect location. Thank you so much for helping to make our wedding day so perfect!"

"Had a lovely stay once again at the doubletree. Second year running to visit Winchester Christmas market. The staff were great and really accommodating. The facilities were perfect and breakfast had a great selection we all enjoyed "
"I have no issues with Hotel as it is pleasant and as expected for the price.
Spa was not used because there was staf sickness and the spa staff sat in the staff room most of the day...
Anyway my review is not about the hotel or spa but is about two staff in particular.
Chantelle - upon arriving and checking in I had some questions and not only did she answer them excellently but she also did it in a way that felt personal to me. Like, I mattered. Like my experience and mindset, mattered.
I have been to many hotels and stayed all over the world but she made me feel important to her in the sense of her responsibilities in her jobrole to make sure I was looked after and felt welcomed. She went above and beyond. Thank you.
Tye - working on his own during the night shift he was able to help me with some trivial issues and actually was a pleasure to speak to. Very respectful and clearly experienced in hospitality. Credit where credit is due. people are so quick to complain but not to reward with praise. I know it is only text on a screen but Tye made me feel like a human that was seen and heard. Not just another guest of the hotel. Thank you for the conversation and information despite it being very late Tye.
To the owners of the hotel, staff like these two people are a credit to your venue.
There was another lady that was very kind. Her name was Priscilla and is a new member to the catering team if I am correct. Very lovely & passionate about making sure things are the best!"
"We stayed at the Royal Leanardo prior to our cruise disembarking from Southampton.
The hotel is within walking distance to shopping and restaurants.
We found all the staff friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and our bed was comfortable.
We would recommend a stay here for anyone prior to a cruise.
The concierge arranged taxi reservations and the coordination of transportation to the cruise terminal for the guests. This was helpful."
