Langeland is one of the most popular vacation destinations in Denmark. Wonderful child-friendly beaches invite the whole family to romp and splash around. The enchanting nature is famous for its beauty, which you can experience on long refreshing walks or bike rides. Good fishing opportunities are offered by the coast, the sea and the many put and take lakes in the area. Perhaps take a cruise on one of the historic wooden boats in the archipelago of South Funen, which takes about 2-6 hours. Also visit the beautiful Valdemar Castle on the island of Tåsinge or admire the picturesque houses, marketplaces and cobblestone streets of the town of Rudkøbing.
