I was there in a rain storm for two nights and three days and it was king tide so the water was all the way to the bulkhead. It was absolutely wonderful to be safe and warm and tucked in so I could read, write and just watch the ocean. I have wanted to be in this cabin since I was a kid and it was a dream come true. The host was incredibly communicative, even let us show up early with no extra charge. Her instructions were clear. She had many things for us to use, and the heated floors were amazing! I would definitely stay out here again. We had an incredible view of the lake and the seals! I’m jealous of the people who get to live here full time. We enjoyed watching the sea life during our stormy stay. The cabin is situated near the sea wall. The water was at or near it while we were there so the otter, seal and many water fowl were quite close in. All of our creature comforts were met in this well supplied place. Make sure to grab any supplies you might need from the store before getting to the location because it’s a 1hr round trip to the closest store. We will be returning in the future! Only tricky part is the driveway. I chose to back into the driveway because pulling out the view is obstructed and could be an accident situation since traffic moves a little faster than the speed limit. Other than that, our host Susan was so warm and inviting and quick to answer any questions. The neighborhood is friendly and always waving.
