LUMOS INN
No stairs so keep that in mind if you have heavy luggage. Otherwise the common area was a nice touch with free tea and snacks. That was surprisingly nice. The weird steps in the room and the bathroom took a little getting use to. Overall decent stay. Close to some good markets and street food.

City Suites Taipei Nanxi
I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel. Room 1012 was superb. Breakfast was great and hotel is within walking distance to lovely shops and restaurants and a short taxi ride to Taipei Main Station.
