"Plenty of space & stairs! For 2 of us, we lived on the main floor and walked down to the pier a couple times. Used the noodle provided and hopped in the water....refreshing, but no ladder to climb out.We enjoyed the screened in porch, but did not use the deck, as mosquitos were a bit too much, and we were spending time elsewhere with family.I did use the kitchen each morning for breakfast and found the copper cookware and electric stove easy to use and clean up...plus plenty of tools, utensils...

"Absolutely lovely and perfect in every way! The only thing I would have changed would be to stay here longer. We loved the little touches like the loon cribbage board and all of the restaurant tips in the welcome book. Highly suggest staying here if you are coming to the Northwoods!!"

"Our hosts were amazing and very good at communicating. The house was beautiful and very clean. It could have used another bathroom though, because there were 3 bedrooms (master w/King, 2nd with queen, and 3rd with 2 twins) however, the max for guests was 4. The only downside for us was that there were several houses in an HOA setting and multiple boats assigned to each dock. I'm sure this would be fine for most people (especially those who want to rent a location for multiple groups of people) but, we personally prefer a private home with its own dock. Not for us, but would definitely recommend for others who don't mind close neighbors and sharing a dock."

"The home was neat and tidy. Everything that was needed was supplied. The host always responded in a timely manner. Nice that the driveway was a pull through for hauling a trailer. The neighbors were quiet, but friendly if you were out when they happened to be out. You are about 11 miles from the closest gas/diesel station which also has fairly decent grocery store/ convenience store. Everyone is very friendly. Another plus is one of the best scenic state parks is within 20 minutes, Bond Falls State Park is definitely worth a stop!! We went several times to enjoy the waterfall area. Warning that mosquitos and the black flies can be annoying especially in the evening, but a little bug spray can keep the mosquitoes at bay, can't say it helps with the biting flies. Also, Paulding General Store is worth the stop if supplies are needed or just in the mood for ice cream."

We spent the Fourth of July here, and it was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable vacations we've had.The house is unique, exceptionally clean, and well situated on the lake. The peaceful surroundings, gorgeous views, and privacy made it easy to unwind and enjoy quality time with our family . Every detail of the home showed the care and thoughtfulness of the owners.What truly made this stay unforgettable, though, was the owners themselves. They were gracious, caring, and genuinely committed to making sure our stay was perfect. Their kindness and hospitality were evident from the moment we arrived until the day we left.It was especially meaningful to meet owners who openly love and serve our Lord Jesus Christ. Their faith shines through in the way they treat others, with generosity, integrity, and genuine love. It was a blessing to support people whose values are reflected in the way they welcome their guests.We left feeling refreshed, grateful. If you're looking for a beautiful, peaceful lakefront retreat with wonderful hosts who truly care about their guests, this is the place. We felt so comfortable in their home. We highly recommend it"

All info in the listing was accurate. The kitchen has everything you need to cook etc; hot tub was a great bonus. It was ready to go when we arrived. Everything in excellent condition. Dishwasher, washing machine, a/c -- everything worked. Plenty of sheets, towels and basics to make the stay easy. Definitely recommend."

"We just got back from a 3 night stay at the Trout Creek location. We were looking for lodging off the beaten path a bit where it would be quiet and relaxing, and we hit the jackpot on this stay. Everything was very clean and comfortable, and we were so pleased with all of the accommodations. Although it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, it was great being so close to the main road, and you could easily head any direction necessary right away. We would not hesitate to book a return visit the next time we're in the area."
