"I absolutely loved this ryokan. The pictures online do not do it justice; the property is even better in person. The staff were very welcoming. The meals were amazing. The property was bigger than I thought it would be. The setting was peaceful. It was exactly what I was looking for. "The hotel was very clean, spacious, and the staff very kind and polite. For people travelling, the staff speaks english very well, so check in and out is easy. As a guest, you are given a complimentary drink/food item every day, from a pre set menu; there is alcohol on this menu for those that are wondering. There is also a complimentary breakfast at their restaurant right next to the concierge. It is a traditional style breakfast, that includes Miso soup, natto, rice, tamago, salad, pork sausage, and fish. Drinks are refillable. Overall great place to stay. Toyooka is a small but peaceful city, so the train is within walking distance, as is everything else."
