The Granary - Beautiful barn conversion set on a working farm with scenic views

The Granary is one of a pair of beautiful barn conversions strategically located for accessing the Midlands with scenic views to enjoy from very comfortable accommodation.

Both The Granary and neighbouring Stables are stunning barn conversions that offer very comfortable accommodation and all the home comforts you require are included, these being, central heating, TV (digital channels), DVD player, free internet access available in both cottages, electric cooker, fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave and dishwasher. Towels and bed linen are also provided at no extra cost. A travel cot and high chair can be provided if required.

The Granary has a double bedroom with en-suite upstairs and a twin bedroom downstairs. These two 2' 6" wide beds can be made into a double bed, if required. This therefore makes it ideal for families or couples.

There are steps up to the outside from The Granary but an access statement is available upon request. The Granary has an open garden and its own patio area from which the panoramic views of the countryside can be enjoyed.

Well behaved pets are welcome, even horses can be accommodated by prior arrangement.

The Granary is located on a working family farm with horses and traditional beef cattle. The farm is near the top of a hill between the villages of Warton and Polesworth, offering panoramic views of the countryside whilst being convenient for local shops, pubs and many different take-aways. The cottages are 10 minutes from the motorway network making many attractions within easy reach

It is an ideal location for pub lunches and country walks along footpaths or the Coventry canal. Fishing is available on the farm nearby. There are also numerous golf courses within a 10 mile radius.

If you like real snow skiing at the Tamworth Snowdome then this is the ideal place to stay. Twycross Zoo and Thomas Land at Drayton Manor Park are also on the doorstep. We offer discounted tickets for Drayton Manor which will save you money and time spent queuing.

If you have been to a busy exhibition at the NEC or visited Birmingham, The Stables is a quiet place in the countryside to come back to.

Nuneaton train station is 20 minutes away by car and from here you can be in central London in just over an hour.

Both cottages are fully equipped with everything you may need for your stay including free wi-fi. Enjoy the panoramic views from the garden or have a barbeque on the patio.

Perfect spot for us
This is our second time staying at the cottages. The location is perfect for us with beautiful scenery, quiet and close to our family when we come to visit. Our boys 10 and 13 are comfortable and have everything they need. The owners are right on site if we ever needed anything and respond to emails very quickly. The kitchen, dishwasher, and clothes washing machine meet our needs perfectly. There is ample storage for our clothes and belongings which helps us feel comfortable and at home. And the internet is dependable. We hope to stay a third time.

Great location
Booked with friends to attend an event nearby. Property was perfect for our requirements and would suit a young family perfectly as well, with a double en-suite upstairs and a twin and further bathroom on the ground floor. The kitchen is small but has everything you could possibly require. Large comfy sofas are a bonus as well! If there were to be a criticism it would NOT be about either Tina, the host, or the property, but the lack of information forthcoming from Vrbo about the property location and how to get in touch with Tina and the checking in process was not a great recommendation for Vrbo itself I'm afraid.

We really enjoyed our stay in the granary cottage. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We struggled to find it initially as didn’t have the exact address. That would be helpful to have in advance. But phoned our host who directed us to the property. The kids were keen to see the horses. They were lovely.

Gorgeous location for our young family.
The property was clean and very comfortable. There was plenty of room for our family. It was superb location for getting to Tamworth. We were provided with essentials in the kitchen which was wonderful as we arrived later than expected. There was also some childrens books and puzzles which helped keep the children entertained. We loved our get away here. Thank you.

Wonderful getaway in a beautiful country setting
Tina and her family welcomed us to their delightful cottage in Polesworth. They had thought of every little detail and the getaway was perfect. It was wonderful to wake up to horses galloping in the field outside the window. Will certainly return again in the future.

Beautiful cottage with fantastic views.
Lovely cottage, very clean, tidy with everything you might possible need, perfectly situated on a working farm for lots of long walks with our two dogs, amazing views. lovely to look out across the fields in the morning with the sunrise and the horses in the field. A lovely rural getaway
Situated on a working farm and livery the granary cottage was peaceful with spectacular views. On arrival the cottage was spotlessly clean and Tina had kindly left some tea, coffee, milk etc. Mark was helpful with local knowledge… we absolutely loved visiting the calves. Lovely to have a little garden for our evening G&T!

We were looking for somewhere conveniently located for our family to meet. The Granary exceeded our expectations. Views from the garden added to our enjoyment of the opportunity to meet for the first time ineight months. Belated exchange of presents was an unusual experience. The well equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare a meal for the garden table. And once the family had left we had a lovely place to relax. Our helpful hosts made sure everything we needed was on hand. Many thanks for a memorable weekend.

A great cottage in a superb location. A gem of a property acting as much more than a base, for visiting family nearby. Immaculately clean and everything we needed to self cater for a few days away. Wish we had booked for longer. Tina is very communicative, accommodating and flexible. We received a warm and friendly welcome on arrival. The sunshine was a bonus and we wrapped up to prolong our outdoor experience of the views and the lovely farm environment . We will definitely be back!

Stayed for 4 nights. Cottage very clean and well equipped, kitchen had everything you would need for self catering, hospitality tray with tea/coffee/snacks, milk in the fridge and even a couple of dog biscuits for my fur-baby. Made use of the gas BBQ with lovely view of the open countryside. Comfy beds and good showers in the 2 shower/bathrooms. The accommodation actually surpassed my expectations, very pleased with our booking. Would definitely recommend. Bit strange being away in these Covid-times, but we had a great break!
