Overall my experience was very good and I would book with TAROM again. One not so positive comment. I arrived at the airport 3 hours in advance because that was the guidance. I followed the directions of the arrivals board and went to the appropriate gate to wait for check-in to begin. It was not so bad that myself along with numerous other folks waited an hour before check/in started but there was nothing in the two checki-in counters to indicate we were waiting at the proper place. I think you could make a lot of folks feel much better and certainly more comfortable if there had been something at desk 800-801 to let us know as we watched the clock tick away that we were in fact at the correct desk. I know it was on the departure bill board but once I was in line waiting I could no longer see any departure bill boards so if the location would have changed none of us would have known. As I stated in the beginning of this text, my overall experience was very good.
Good staff but the plane was late one and a half hour for take off. I was not happy about that especially since I had a connecting flight.
Great flight! All is great.
Everybody was friendly and professional.
Short flight, went smooth. Prefer a seat where I can lean back.
Plane was small propeller jet.
Baggage and flight were delayed.
Pleasant flight, nice flight attendants, everything smooth and easy!
Although not considered one of the top European airliners, TAROM offers one of the best experiences with no arrival delays (aganist its big sister Lufthansa, which is cronically late!!), tasty meals (versus Lufthansa soaked wet tasteless sandwich), wifi on board, friendly and helpful staff (versus sour faces of Lufthansa flight attendants), good airfare prices and the always perfect landings of the Romanina pilots, somerhing that I have never experienced anywhere in the world. I compare the two airliners, because for the past seven years I practice a route that could be executed with either airline: Tarom or Lufthansa and I initially started with Lufthansa airline given its "prestige". Eventually, I switched to Tarom, tried to go back to using Lufthansa and after massive delays in two instances and continuous delays for the rest of the time, I decided no more German services!!! Try for yourselves and see, if you would like to spend more, eat substandard, be treated with no respect and guaranteed delays!
