Welcome to Morgan Cabins we opened the Cabin rental in 2018. We were given this acre as a wedding gift from my husband's parents, they also had been given this property as a wedding gift, so its been in the family for many years. We started coming to this property in 2010 as our getaway, we would host many gatherings here. In 2016 the company that my husband and myself worked for closed their doors. My husband found work with another company and he and I soon built and began Morgan Cabins. We are the builders, housekeeping, lawncare service or anything else you may have a need for while at our cabin. Please check out our reviews, You won't be disappointed! Country setting 4 miles from Little Patoka Boat ramp, property backs up to Hoosier National Forrest, Plenty of space for Boat parking, property is one acre. Main cabin has 2 twin beds, and one queen, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and living room. Bunkhouse includes a queen size bed, can also be rented for additional guest at $20.00 per night. Free firewood for the firepit, also a pass to Patoka Lake. A modern outhouse also is for your use it includes a sink, shower, and toliet. Picnic tables, porch swings and children swings. Covered back porch has gas grill, Table and chairs. and a ceiling fan. A creek also runs along beside the property for your exploring.

Wonderful place to relax and get away from all the chaos. Very clean and beautiful place, inside and out. Claudette was a great host. Provided everything we needed. Would definitely recommend to friends and anyone wanting to get away for a weekend (or longer) for some peace and quiet. Loved it!!

We had a wonderful long weekend enjoying the cabin and carefully manicured grounds. Every detail was well planned and maintained. Many activities to enjoy in the area, and the property manager very warm and attentive. We would gladly do it all over again!

This was the perfect spot for small kids. They loved the creek and fire pit. It was very peaceful and the outdoor shower and hummingbird feeder were a nice touch.

Lovely cabin, excellent host. Love being able to unplug - no WiFi! Host was very helpful - provided tips and resources for things to do and explore, along with a pass to Patoka Lake State Park! We so enjoyed the property and quiet location.

What an amazing time !
We stayed for couple of nights we wanted a relaxing time since our daughter was on vacation with her grandma. It exceeded our expectations and will def be booking soon to be back. Claudette is an amazing host, she told us about fishing spot and some amazing wine slushees at the winery. We had a great time it was relaxing . We woke up every morning and had coffee on the porch swing . Already missing the quietness! 100% stay here you won’t regret it .

The cabin was Great and we really enjoyed our time there. It was super clean and has everything you need. We loved the fire pit and the creek behind the cabin. We saw crayfish, turtles, tadpoles and 5 coyotes out in the back early in the morning! Kids favorite thing to do was catching firefly’s, they had such a great time! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! We will be returning!

Amazing property
We were looking for a quiet relaxing place to get away from it all and this property certainly fit the bill. The owner was wonderful, gave us a complete tour of the new property and made sure that we had directions to fishing spots and things to see. Literally the only drawback was no Wi-Fi. It would have been nice to be able to Google some of the plants and birds that were new to us.

The owner was very accommodating and provided a wealth of information about the area, as well as assisting when we needed a medical contact. We greatly appreciated the responsiveness. The property was in excellent condition. The location is secluded and well suited to time away to recharge. We visited local attractions, in particular for hiking and observing nature.

This beautiful cabin is the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed. It’s quiet and secluded. If you need a few restful days it’s perfect. I was on business and the closest hotel was over 30 miles. I’m glad they were not close. This is about the same price as a hotel and twice as nice.

Wonderful stay
This property is a great location off the beaten path for some much needed R&R! We enjoyed being close to many great hiking trials but wished we had thought to bring our fishing poles! The cabin was a perfect size for my husband and I to relax in, very clean and well stocked, the bed we slept in was very comfortable, and the host’s suggestions for things to do and places to eat were icing on the cake!!

Perfect, Peaceful Cabin
We enjoyed our stay at Morgan Cabin! Claudette was a great host! Check in was simple, and Claudette showed us around the property. The cabin was very clean and stocked with everything we needed during our stay. We enjoyed the swings and explored in the creek. It was a bit rainy while we were there, so we took a short drive to Marengo Cave one afternoon. Claudette was very accommodating, and we can’t wait to visit again!

Little country cutie.
This cute little cabin was so nice and clean. Pretty much anything you needed was provided. The owner Claudette was very helpful and kind. She gave us several recommendations of places to go that turned out to be awesome! We enjoyed all the swings and porches. The creek was beautiful. We plan to visit again when it's warmer and not raining so we can use that awesome fire pit with plenty of complimentary fire wood to use. It's also a great price for everything that's included.
