When we got to the 3rd floor, the hallway smelled of cigarette smoke and marijuana. Our room smelled the same, & was gross and very disappointing. We had a "one bedroom suite", the furniture in the living area was very dirty, the fabric chair was stained and had hair all over it, the leather-like couch had been spilled on and you could still see drips on it (definitely had NOT been thoroughly cleaned). The TV in the living area was broke and wouldn't turn on. The pull out couch (which we needed to use based on our room occupancy) had hair on the mattress cover and was dirty. There were only 2 towels in the room (this room was supposed to sleep 6, and we had a full room). When we went down to ask for more towels, we were told that they didn't have any more towels at that moment but to come back an hour later because they were being cleaned (I don't understand why housekeeping only put 2 towels in a 6 person suite to begin with?). The front desk staff was kind, so that was positive. We addressed the smoke smell and broken TV with the staff (so as to not get personally charged with any damage). ***The best part about the hotel was the breakfast.... The kind lady working on Memorial Day was keeping the food continuously stocked and fresh. She was wiping tables and keeping everything clean. That was a nice ending to an otherwise very frustrating stay.***
